Let Rock be your EV Charging Infrastructure partner
With the rapid explosion of the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging market and an associated growth in companies offering installation, how can you be assured that Rock Power Connections is the right choice?
Rock is an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), accredited through Lloyds NERS. This means we are specialists in designing and installing new connections from the Low Voltage (LV) network and the High Voltage (HV) network. Regardless of what size load your EV charger project requires, we can build the infrastructure to supply it.
Rock holds NICEIC certification and installs to the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018). This means we can design and install your EV chargers alongside the new power supply, providing a seamless installation service.
For large projects, Rock can act as Principal Contractor under the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
Need works on a petrol forecourt? We can do that too. Our team is accredited to the UKPIA Forecourt Contractor Safety Passport Scheme.
Rock can undertake all the electrical and civils elements of your project. We offer a hassle-free approach by being the sole contractor onsite with a dedicated point of contact.
Rock Power Connections has strong links with Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs) and can get your installation adopted by them. IDNOs own, operate and maintain electricity infrastructure in the same way that DNOs do. The networks which they adopt are the new, installed assets (for example, connections to new EV chargers) which will connect back onto a DNO’s network.
The IDNO will offer an upfront sum of money, called an ‘Asset Value’, which is payable upon energisation of your supply. At Rock Power Connections, when we provide a quotation to you, it will include this Asset Value which can make a very competitive offer to the DNO’s proposal.
