Rock Power Connections welcomes 6 new members to its growing team
Rock Power Connections is delighted to announce it has welcomed six new members to its growing team – the most new starters in a month since its inception.
The new team members have been appointed to support key growth areas of the business and include:
- Ben French and Ollie Tippin are newly appointed Electricians, responsible for working on new electrical connections as part of the Rock Teams work as an independent Connections Provider (ICP).
- Jim Ladds and Eddie Lawrence are newly appointed Civils Operatives, working on ICP and distribution network projects.
- Darryl Hall has joined Rock Surveying, the underground utility and topographical surveying division, as a Utility Surveyor.
- Joe Buggins has been appointed as a trainee ICP Project Manager.
The influx in new staff members is reflective of a strong period of growth for Rock Power Connections across all areas of the business.

Founded in 2012, Rock Power Connections has quickly become one of the UK’s leading Independent Connections Providers, specialising in the design and installation of new and upgraded electricity connections to commercial and apartment developments. The company are also on a major projects framework for a Distribution Network Operator (DNO), upgrading and maintaining the distribution network.
In summer, it was awarded ‘Small Business of the Year’ at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards, making 2019 one of its most successful years yet.
