CASE STUDY: Upgraded LV supply to a new office development
Dakota is an impressive new Grade A office building positioned at the entrance to the internationally renowned Brooklands estate in Weighbridge.
Whilst there was an existing 275kVA supply to the site, Rock Power Connections were set the task of installing a new supply of 450kVA.
In agreement with the network operator, the supply was installed over two LV connections; negating the need for a substation and providing the most commercially feasible solution for the client.

* The Rock Team installed a 450kVA supply to site, using two LV point of connections from a local substation.
* The Project Manager worked closely with the Site Manager to ensure that the onsite civil works, including the laying of ducts, was completed to the DNO’s specification.
* The Rock Team then installed 65 metres of LV cable to two 400A Heavy Duty Cut Outs.
