Sister firm of Rock Power Connections - Rock Clean Energy – is hosting a dedicated energy storage event, ‘Battery Storage for Business’ in partnership with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce this April.
Taking place at Worcestershire’s County Cricket Ground on Thursday 19th April, 8.00 – 9.30am, ‘Battery Storage for Business’ is free to attend, and will provide the opportunity for larger energy users to understand the cost-saving benefits of implementing their own Battery Energy Storage System.
The key topics covered will include:
· Introduction to battery storage, energy trends and the smart grid.
· Overview of the opportunity and business case for Behind the Meter Storage.
· Outline of the revenue streams and how to access them.
· Ideal applications with or without renewable generation.
· The different finance models, including a fully-funded option.
Founded in 2017, Rock Clean Energy works in partnership with Rock Power Connections. As specialist High Voltage (HV) electrical engineers, the Rock Team already have the experience and capability to install batteries on primary substations.
Directors Kev, Matt and Reece decided this was the perfect time to create this new venture, being an exciting growth market with a natural synergy to the core business. With the creation of Rock Clean Energy comes a new Director, Chris Roberts, a pioneer in the UK’s energy storage and renewable energy industry:
Chris, said: “The Battery Storage for Business Seminar provides the opportunity for local businesses to understand the cost-saving benefits of installing their very own battery storage solution – not only reducing electricity bills, but providing a back-up supply in the event of a power failure, ensuring that production and operations are not affected.”
“What’s more, Rock Clean Energy is working with energy storage giant, Tesla, enabling us to provide businesses across the County with fully funded Tesla Battery Energy Storage Systems – whilst generating revenue from the transmission and distribution networks.”
Rock Clean Energy can successfully provide large firms with a complete Battery Storage Solution - from design to securing funding right through to installation.
The Battery Storage for Business event is open to both Chamber Members and Non-Members, where participants are invited to email firstname.lastname@example.org to register their interest.
